The founder of Simmons Construction Company, Todd Simmons, spent his summers on construction sites working for his father, an electrical foreman at a major construction company in Phoenix. Soon, Todd built a solid reputation in the trade, then diversified his skills in other areas of construction.

In 1988...
Simmons set out to build a business as a commercial and residential drywall, painting and framing contractor. He worked on numerous commercial construction projects and tenant improvements, plus a wide range of custom homes ranging in size from 1,500 to 14,000 sq feet.

In 1994...
Simmons became a General Contractor, focusing on building fine residential custom homes, garnering numerous awards.

In 1999...
Simmons Construction, LLC obtained its Commercial B1 License and began to build freestanding retail, office and warehouse projects. Simmons was also involved in designing and developing several residential subdivisions in the Valley.

In 2006...
Simmons Construction began the build of its first retail shopping center at 26,000 sq ft. The same year, Simmons was awarded a contract to build a retail shopping center at 72,000 sq ft.

Todd Simmons is a fourth generation Arizonan who has an intimate grasp of building in Arizona. The team at Simmons Construction Company believes that by seeking to understand each unique client and delivering on set expectations, the results will continue to be lasting and prosperous relationships.
